Sciatica refers to pain that travels along the path of the sciatic nerve. The sciatic nerve travels from the lower back through the hips, buttocks, and down each leg. Medically, sciatica most often occurs when a herniated disk or an overgrowth of bone puts pressure on part of that nerve. The TKM root of sciatica disorder and pain stems from the opposite neck chronic congestion, particularly the energy sphere #12.
Procedure for right side sciatic pain:
Step 1: Place left hand, all finger-pads, to right lateral #25 in a vertical line through the gluteus maximus muscle, as illustrated.
And Right hand, all finger-pads, to right neck: First upper neck (step 1), then lower neck (step 2), then middle neck (step 3), as illustrated.
Note: This may need to be repeated several times thoroughly for more relief. Only gentle contact needed, no pressure! If the pain is on the Left side, then apply the method to that side of the body with the same hand placement. Caution, if you switch hands the pain may increase.
