Pain is commonly thought of as a signal in your nervous system that something may be wrong. It is an unpleasant feeling, such as a prick, tingle, sting, burn, or ache. Pain may be sharp or dull. It may come and go, or it may be constant. Pain is interrupted or congested energy flow, and that message is carried by the CNS to the brain.
Severe pain is often defined as a chronic condition of pain that interferes with some or all the activities of daily living. May cause bed confinement or chair rest because of the severity. Typically, it doesn’t go away, and treatment needs to be continuous for days, weeks, months, or years. It could also be defined as a very intense level of pain. TKM changes that condition.
